Venus is an 8 year old mare bred by the famous La Luisa Farm in Colombia. As a filly at La Luisa, with over 600 horses, she was nicknamed "The Superstar"! Fabio Ochoa referred to her dam as the best fino mare he ever bred. Venus has always been 100% fino gait. We have some truly outstanding video clips of both her and her dam as weanlings and as adults. Venus' 2004 foal Kaligenia del Mar, (a Jaranero daughter we have for sale as well) won the breeders sweepstakes at Mason Dixon and Piedmont in 2005. She is also all fino gait.
